The Engagement Manager (Transition) must ensure that the team assesses the operational readiness by conducting an assessment once all the accesses are granted, all the necessary infrastructure and connectivity has been established and the knowledge exchange is complete.
Typically, the Operational Readiness Assessment (ORA) parameters will be finalized in alignment with the Service Delivery Team.
An ORA report will be published with all the relevant stakeholders as agreed and will be used to verify whether the following things are in place:
-
All the users (SME and knowledge exchange recipients) have correct and complete access to network
-
all the infrastructure is operational
-
The issues and risk log is updated and service delivery team is updated on the same
-
Escalation list and procedures are in place
-
All required licenses are in place
-
All applications/infrastructure are accessible by support team
-
Review of the pending Technology And Infrastructure issues log is complete
-
Review of the status of upgraded monitoring capabilities is completed
-
Review of the status of knowledge exchange is completed
-
Review of any major outages and their resolution have been documented
-
Review of SLA performance against targets
-
Overall readiness of the Capgemini support team to support the environment at go-live
-
Service Delivery Team is geared up and staffed to start the support.
It is recommended that the Engagement Manager (Transition) should obtain a formal sign-off on the operational readiness assessment report from the relevant stakeholders. |
